Brothers Ahmed and Belal El Shal grew up in Alexandria where Ahmed studied medicine and Belal chose business. Both showed an early interest in team organisation and activities and by the time they graduated, they had already proved active members in “Les Coeursvaillants in St. Marc College”, and had formed affiliations with “the Alexandria Scientific Student Association” and “L’association de professions medicauxfrancophones”. ICOM was founded in 1998; a project intended to bring together their respective specializations, passion for team leadership and skill at professional networking and organization structuring. Now, 16 years later, Ahmed is CEO and Chairman, Belal is General Manager & ICOM is their dream comes true.
